To support the efficiency of Armed Forces personnel and their dependants, particularly through alcohol-free welfare amenity centres in or near military bases in the UK and overseas. To support ex-Armed Forces personnel and their dependants, usually through sheltered housing. To support the religious and charitable work of the CofE in the Armed Forces, although its other work is religion-blind.
