THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE (A) TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION AND APPRECIATION OF CHORAL MUSIC AND RELATED ACTIVITIES IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS, RECITALS BROADCASTS RECORDINGS OR AT THE INVITATION OF PROMOTERS, ORGANISATIONS AND OTHER ARTISTIC BODIES; AND (B) TO EDUCATE AND ENHANCE THE SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF ANY CHOIR RUN BY THE CIO THROUGH A RANGE OF PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE UK AND ABROAD.
