AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO BE KNOWN AS THE "PEARSON SCHOLARSHIPS" TO ANY SUITABLE BOYS OR GIRLS WHO HAVE RECEIVED THEIR EARLY EDUCATION AT COUNTY OR DENOMINATIONAL SCHOOLS IN THE CITY OF LEICESTER TO PROCEED TO A TRAINING COLLEGE FOR TEACHERS OR TO ANY UNIVERSITY OR TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY THE HIGHER EDUCATION OF SUCH BOYS OR GIRLS.
