To acquire, rebuild and preserve, the trackbed, buildings, structures and associated land of the former Eden Valley Railway between Kirkby Stephen and Penrith in the County of Cumbria, and of the former SDLU Railway between Barnard Castle in the County of Durham and Tebay in the County of Cumbria and the former railway between Barnard Castle and Darlington in County Durham.
